Mattz Record Ends Partnership with 10:30 Over Management Differences

Mattz Record has officially terminated its contract with trending Liberian artist 10:30, according to the label’s CEO, Mattias Sirleaf.

Speaking on the decision, Sirleaf explained that the separation was driven by ongoing management challenges. He stated that the artist was unwilling to follow the label’s guidance and often ignored professional advice, making it difficult for both parties to work together effectively.

The CEO also expressed concern about the artist’s health, revealing that 10:30 had been advised to avoid alcohol due to medical reasons. However, he claimed the artist continued drinking despite repeated warnings, which reportedly worsened his condition.

To avoid future misunderstandings and complications, Mattz Record decided it was in the best interest of both the label and the artist to end their working relationship.

The announcement marks the end of 10:30’s affiliation with Mattz Record as both sides now move forward independently.
